The Great Library Roof Sit

Friday, October 8, 2010 – 11:00 am

The kick-off for the library’s Capital Campaign will be an activity for the whole family to participate in – The Great Library Roof Sit. Miss Bobbi has committed to “sit” on the library roof for 24 hours in an attempt to raise funds to support the library expansion project.

The director will begin her time on the roof at 11 a.m. on October 8 and descend (with the help of the Schoolcraft Fire Department) at 11 a.m. on October 9. There will be many activities throughout the day and the night for participants of all ages.

Students will be joining Miss Bobbi for Lunch on the Lawn; Seniors can participate in the Senior Sit In and Silly Sing-a-long with the Staff; Families can come to the Family Flick, Dancing for Dollars, Marshmallow Roast and Ghost Stories; and third thru sixth graders can register for the “Camp Out for Kids.” The final activity will be “You’ve Been Booked!” on Saturday morning.
