Battle Of The Books – Grand Battle Participants

The 17th annual Battle of the Books event was held at the Schoolcraft High School PAC on Saturday, February 11, with Preliminary Battles beginning at 10 a.m. There were 30 teams “battling” from Vicksburg, Schoolcraft and Parchment.

Scores ran high going into the Semi Final battles later in the day indicating the amount of work invested by team members and coaches. Of the 16 teams that “battled” in the two Semi Finals, four teams advanced to the Grand Battle, being held Thursday, February 16 at 7 p.m. in the Schoolcraft High School PAC.

The four teams in the Grand Battle are: Peace Out Peppers (Schoolcraft), The Readers That Could (Vicksburg/Sunset Lake), Born to Read (Vicksburg/Tobey), and Book Battalion (Vicksburg/Tobey).
